Function:
Tween 20 is an amber coloured viscous liquid with a slightly peculiar odour and a slightly bitter taste. It can be used as a solubilizer, diffuser, stabilizer, antistatic agent, lubricant, etc.
Application:
- Tween 20 is an oil-in-water emulsifier and can be used as a solubiliser, diffuser, stabiliser, lubricant and antistatic agent.
- A non-ionic surfactant.
- Used as an anti-waxing agent in oil production to remove wax from oil wells; as a viscosity reducer to reduce the flowing viscosity of crude oil to increase well production and improve delivery capacity. Used as a solubilizer, penetrating agent and dispersant for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics in medicine and daily use chemicals.
