Function
The main components of Isophorone are α- Isophorone (3,5,5-trimethyl-2-cyclohexen-1-one) and β- A mixture of isomers of isophorone (3,5,5-trimethyl-3-cyclohexen-1-one) with extremely strong solubility, capable of dissolving various organic compounds, polymers, resins, and other chemical substances. This product is a high boiling point solvent. Mainly used in fields such as pesticides, coatings, and canned coatings.

Isophorone can be used in the following fields:
- Isophorone is widely used as a high boiling solvent in the paint and varnish industry, especially for its excellent solubility in PVDF resins. It can also be used as a leveling agent for acrylic resin, alkyd resin, epoxy resin, and phenolic resin
- Isophorone is an important chemical raw material that can be used to synthesize IPDA (isophorone diamine), IPDI (isophorone diisocyanate), and 3,5-dimethylphenol
- Due to its excellent emulsification and stability, isophorone can also be used in herbicide and insecticide formulations
