Function:

Hydroxyaluminum distearate has a white powder appearance and is insoluble in water. Soluble in ethanol, benzene, Turpentine, mineral oil and alkali. When heated or exposed to strong acids, it decomposes into stearic acid and corresponding aluminum salts. Interact with aromatic hydrocarbons and fatty hydrocarbons to form colloids.

Application:

Used as a non-toxic heat stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride, metal rust inhibitor, waterproof agent for building materials, emulsifier for cosmetics, brightener and thickener for coatings and inks, lubricant for plastic products, and defoamer for petroleum drilling.
