Function:
Tert-butanol, also known as trimethyl methanol, 2-methyl-2-propanol, etc. It is a colorless crystal, a colorless volatile liquid in the presence of a small amount of water, with a camphor-like odor, hygroscopic, flammable, and has higher toxicity and anesthetic properties than other alcohols. Tert-butanol is soluble in most organic solvents, such as alcohols, esters, ketones, aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons, and is one of the widely used petrochemicals.
Application:
It is used as organic solvent and chemical raw material, and it is also the raw material for preparing medicine and fragrance. It is also used as a solvent and chromatographic analysis reagent for determining molecular weight.
Storage:
Store at +5°C to +30°C.
