Uses:

Tert-Butanolalcohol is an important intermediate of the insecticide thiazazone, hydrazine suppressor and Acylhydrazine, the acaric mite pyda, the herbicide Zhong butaning, and the sodium TERT butanol as an important sodium alcohol application in the pesticide industry. It is mainly used in the pyrethroid cyclization reaction.
4. Tert-Butanolis often used as a solvent for coatings and pharmaceuticals. Used as internal combustion engine fuel additive (preventing carburetor icing) and antiknock agent. As the intermediate of organic synthesis and the alkylation of tert butyl compounds, methyl methacrylate, tert butyl phenol and tert butyamine can be produced and used to synthesize drugs and spices. The isobutene with purity 99.0-99.9% can be obtained by dehydration of tert butyl alcohol.
