Function:
SMAS, a white crystalline powder, is easily soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol and dimethyl sulfoxide, and insoluble in other organic solvents.
Application:
1.It is mainly used as the third monomer in the production of acrylic fiber to improve the dyeing and heat resistance of acrylic fiber; Various reactive emulsifiers, flocculants, water reducing agents for commercial concrete, etc.
2.The third monomer in acrylonitrile polymerization is mainly used to improve the dyeing, heat resistance, handle and spinnability of acrylic fiber. In addition, it is also used in water treatment, pigment solution additives, carbon pore forming, plastic powder molding, powder painting, etc.
3.It is used as a dry strength agent in the auxiliaries of papermaking to increase the strength of products. Plasticizing agent of cement admixture can also be used.
