Function: 

Furfural is a colorless and transparent oily liquid generated by hydrolysis and dehydration of pentosan in plant fiber raw materials, with special fragrance, also easy to polymerization and resinous. It is used in synthetic resin, varnish, pesticide, medicine, rubber and coating etc.

Application: 

1. Used as analytical reagent
2. Used as raw material for organic synthesis, also used in synthetic resin, varnish, pesticide, medicine, rubber and paint, etc.
3. Determination of cobalt, determination of sulfate. Reagent for the determination of aromatic amines, acetone, alkaloids, vegetable oils and cholesterol. Determination of pentose and pentose as standard. Synthetic resin, refined organic matter, nitrocellulose solvent, dichloroethane extractant.
