Function
The ultraviolet absorber UV-P is a benzotriazole type ultraviolet absorber that can absorb 300-380 nanometers of ultraviolet light, with a peak absorption of 341 nanometers. It has the characteristics of good compatibility, low volatility, good thermal stability, and high absorption efficiency. It is suitable for polyester, chlorinated polyester, polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene, polyacrylonitrile, polycarbonate, ABS resin, epoxy resin, acrylate, and polymethyl methacrylate, especially for colorless and light colored products. The general dosage for thin products is 0.1-0.5%, while for thick products, it is 0.05-0.2%.
