Function
UV absorber UV-1 (101) is a liquid phenyl imidazole type UV absorber that can effectively absorb 280 to 350 nanometers of UV light, with a peak absorption of 308 nanometers. Almost all ultraviolet light at 300-330 nanometers is absorbed.
It has the characteristics of good compatibility, low volatility, good thermal stability, and high absorption efficiency, and is easily soluble in polyester polyols, polyether polyols, epoxy resins, and isocyanates. Suitable for adhesives, potting adhesives, crystal drop adhesives, especially for polyurethane, hard foam, soft foam, adhesives, elastomers, fabric coatings, polyvinyl chloride, acrylic resins. The general dosage is 0.3-0.5%.

It is used in polyurethane products such as microporous foam, traditional hard foam, semi hard foam, soft foam, fabric coating, some adhesives, sealants and elastomers, as well as PVC, acrylic resin and other polymers with excellent light stability.
