Function: 

Tris-HCl is abbreviated as Tris-HCl. Tris-HCl buffer (Tris-HCl buffer) is widely used not only as a solvent for nucleic acids and proteins, but also for many other important purposes.

Application: 

The pH of all buffers is temperature and concentration dependent. For Tris buffers, the pH increases by approximately 0.03 units per 1°C increase in temperature and decreases by 0.03-0.05 units per 10-fold dilution.
