Function: 

It is a sucrose ester with hydroxyl groups substituted by benzoyl groups. It is insoluble in water, and soluble in organic solvents such as toluene and xylene.

Application: 

1.Because of its physical properties, sucrose benzoate is widely used as an additive in nail polish, rouge, lipstick and other cosmetics to improve the brightness, film-forming, adhesion, waterproof, abrasion resistance and hardness of nail polish films, and reduce the shrinkage and viscosity.

2.It can improve the viscosity and dispersibility of paints, inks, solid coatings, as well as various polymer resins and polymeric materials, and is widely used as a modifier, plasticizer, tackifier, and dispersant.
