Potassium oleate, also known as potassium octadecanoate, is a potassium catalyst that is easily soluble in water, alkaline in solution, and soluble in hot alcohols. It is mainly used as a catalyst for polyisocarburate reaction in polyurethane foam, and can also be used as an emulsifier, cleaner, etc.
Application:
- Used as an emulsifier and cleaning agent. Used for cream and shampoo cosmetics. It has high emulsification efficiency, but it is easy to form calcium soap when encountering hard water. It can also be used as a fiber softener.
