Function:

Nonionic polyacrylamide is a polymer with high molecular weight and low ionic strength. It has flocculation, dispersion, sticky, adhesive, film forming, gel and stabilizing colloid. Its flocculant has little influence on pH value and salt, and its effect is better than anionic polymer in acidic waste water treatment. Mainly used for various industrial wastewater flocculation, sedimentation, and clarification treatment. For example, the treatment of papermaking pulp wastewater, the treatment of wastewater from mineral processing and metal smelting processes, and the treatment of wastewater from steel and stone processing plants.

Application:

1. Sewage treatment agent: When the suspended sewage is acidic, it is more appropriate to use non-ionic polyacrylamide as a flocculant. This is because PAM plays the role of adsorption and bridging, causing suspended particles to flocculate and precipitate, and achieve the purpose of purifying sewage. It can also be used for the purification of tap water, especially when used in conjunction with inorganic flocculants, it has a good effect in water treatment. Coal washing ore dressing, leather electroplating, water treatment in copper and iron works have remarkable effects.
2. Textile industry additives: used for textile sizing.
3. Sand prevention and sand fixation: Dissolve non-ionic polyacrylamide to a concentration of 0.3% and add cross-linking agent, and spray it on the desert to play the role of sand prevention and sand fixation.
4. Soil moisturizer: used as soil moisturizer and basic raw material of various modified polyacrylamides.
