Used for manufacturing azo dyes and sulfide dyes, such as weak acid dark blue 5R, GR acid golden yellow G, reactive brilliant orange K-G, K-GN, KR, K-7R, etc., and also for manufacturing other dyes. It is also used to produce m-aminophenol, vanillin, etc. This product is highly toxic and its toxicity is similar to that of aniline.

• Aminobenzenesulfonic acid is widely used in the synthesis of fine chemicals such as pharmaceuticals, pesticides, spices, beverages, and food, especially in the synthesis of a new type of polypropylene nucleating transparent agent, 3-aminobenzenesulfonic acid sorbitol. It is a new generation of non-toxic plastic additives and is widely used in food packaging materials.
