Application:
Guanidine thiocyanate is a strong ionic liquid protein denaturant used to separate nucleate acid. Guanidine thiocyanate is a super pure molecular biological reagent. Since both guanidine cation and Thiocyanic acid anion are liquid release agents, they do not contain detectable Nuclease and protease activities and are strong protein denaturants.
