Function: 

KH540 silane coupling agent hydrolysis reaction will occur automatically in the presence of water, no need to add acids as additives, the PH value of the aqueous solution is about 10-11, and the product will react with ketones, esters solvents, so it is not recommended to dilute the product with the above solvents. The silane itself or the silanized substrate can react with carbon dioxide in the air, and the corresponding carbonate or carbamate is formed.

Application: 

1.KH540 silane coupling agent is used as glass fiber treatment agent and dental binder, silane coupling agent, excellent bonding accelerator, can be used in polyurethane, epoxy, nitrile, phenolic adhesives and sealing materials, also suitable for polyurethane, epoxy and acrylic emulsion coatings, also can be used in the synthesis of amino silicone oil and its emulsion.

2.KH540 silane coupling agent in resin sand casting, can enhance the adhesion of resin silica sand, improve the strength of the sand and resistance to moisture.

3.KH540 silane coupling agent in the production of glass fiber cotton and mineral wool, it is added to the phenolic resin binder, which can improve moisture resistance and increase the compression resilience.
