Function
Mainly used as a raw material for synthesizing TDI and as a polyether initiator. The foam made of polyether polyol with TDA as initiator is uniform and fine, which can improve the thermal insulation performance and low-temperature dimensional performance of foam.

- Used as an epoxy resin curing agent and dye intermediate.
- Synthesis of aromatic diamine curing agents for polyurethane elastomers and epoxy resins: dimethylthiotoluene diamine DMTDA, diethyltoluene diamine DETDA.
