Function:
Dodecenyl succinic anhydride, also known as dodecyl succinic anhydride, or DDSA for short, has a molecular weight of 266.38. There are two kinds of straight-chain type (LDDSA) and branched-chain type (BDDSA). LDDSA is used as epoxy resin curing agent for a long period of time, less irritation, and better performance of the cured product. Light yellow transparent oily viscous liquid, relative density 1.002.
Application:
Used as a toughness curing agent for epoxy resin adhesives, the reference dosage is 120~150 parts, easy to mix with epoxy resin, and the pot life is 3~4d. Curing condition 100℃/2h+150℃/2h or 85℃/2h+150℃/20h. The cured product has a certain toughness, and the thermal deformation temperature is 66-78 °C. Due to poor heat and chemical resistance, DDSA can be mixed with other acid anhydrides.
