Function:
1,2-Benzisothiazole-3-one(BIT) comes in two forms: powder and liquid, with different contents. It is a major industrial disinfectant, preservative, and enzyme inhibitor. It has good compatibility with various emulsifiers, surfactants, and other ingredients, and can be miscible with alcohol and water in any ratio. The applicable pH range is wider than similar products, and can be used from pH 4.0 to 12.0. Low toxicity, free from heavy metals and halogen compounds, stable to amine compounds, and free from formaldehyde.
Application:
- Suitable for anti-corrosion in fields such as water-based polymers, leather, paint coatings, textiles, printing and dyeing, water-based polymers, metal cutting fluids, adhesives, inks, dye dispersions, etc.
- Widely used in high pH products such as latex products, water-soluble resins, coatings, acrylic polymers, polyurethane products, inks, leather, lubricants, etc.
