Function:
Sodium dimethyldithiocarbamate can be divided into solid and liquid. It is a white crystalline powder at high content, and light yellow liquid at low content. It has a slight ammonia smell and is a water-soluble substance. It is stable in alkaline medium, decomposes in case of acidic substances and high temperature, forms dimers in contact with oxygen, and the quality decreases, so it should be sealed and stored.
Application:
It is mainly used as a terminator for the synthesis of emulsion polystyrene butadiene rubber and styrene butadiene latex, an industrial fungicide, and a vulcanization accelerator for rubber products.
Storage:
It should be kept away from heat sources and stored in a cool and ventilated place.
