Function:
Cross-linked polyvinylpyrrolidone PVPP is formed by cross-linking linear PVP molecular chains through physical or chemical methods. Different crosslinking methods and different degrees of crosslinking make PVPP have different properties. For example, depending on the degree of crosslinking, PVPP can be expressed as a superabsorbent resin, absorbent gel, and insoluble matter.
Application:
As a stabilizer, it is used in beverages such as beer, liquor, grape juice and fruit juice to extend their storage period. In the pharmaceutical industry, it is mainly used as a disintegrating agent for tablets, and can also be used as a disintegrating agent and filler for pills, granules, and hard capsules.
Storage:
Stored in a dry, dark environment, the shelf life is 2 years.
