Function:
Large pink translucent irregular crystals. There are two forms of crystallization, α-type is more stable and belongs to monoclinic columnar crystallization; β-type is unstable and belongs to monoclinic plate crystallization. Relative density 2.01g/cm3. melting point 650℃. Boiling point 1190℃. Water-absorbent, easy to deliquescence.

It is used in aluminum alloy smelting, manufacture of organic chloride catalyst, dye and pigment, pharmaceutical and dry battery, etc
