Function: 

Glycyrrhizic acid is extracted from natural plant licorice and is the main active ingredient of licorice. Glycyrrhizin has anti-inflammatory, anti-viral and liver-protecting functions and enhances immune function. Glycyrrhizic acid has an adrenocortical hormone-like effect, which can inhibit capillary permeability and alleviate the symptoms of anaphylactic shock. It can reduce serum cholesterol in patients with hypertension. Because glycyrrhizin has glucocorticoid-like pharmacological effects without serious adverse reactions, it is widely used in the treatment of various acute and chronic hepatitis, bronchitis and AIDS.
