3,4-Dichloroaniline is an intermediate in fine chemical products such as pesticides and dyes. It is mainly used in the production of herbicides such as barnyard grass, diclofenac, and liguron, and as a dye intermediate, it can be used to synthesize dispersed red G-S. In medicine, it reacts with ammonium thiocyanate to synthesize dichlorophenylthiourea. It can also be used for synthesizing isocyanates, polymer monomers, and medicines.
