Function:
The cis-trans mixture is white crystals, soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, acetone and chloroform. The solubility is around 10% and the melting point is 164-167℃.
Application:
In medicine, it is used in the synthesis of peptic ulcer drugs, and in polyester resins, it is used as a modified monomer to improve the yellowing of polyester resins and to improve their flexibility (softness) without changing their hardness.
