Function: 

EDC is a white crystalline substance that can be used as a cross-linking agent for proteins and nucleic acids, and as a water-soluble carbodiimide type condensation agent for rapid polypeptide condensation reactions. It has a linear structure and has been widely used in the condensation reaction of carboxyl groups with primary amines.

Application:
