Function:

Methacrylic acid, an organic compound, is a colorless crystalline powder, soluble in water, ethanol, ether and other organic solvents, and is an important organic chemical raw material and intermediate of polymer.

Application:

Used for making polycarboxylate superplasticzer, coating, plastic, adhesive,wood as well as soft treating compound, paper lustering agent, textile assistant, insulation material ion exchange resin, etc. Now it is one of main domestic raw material supplier for MAA, hydroxyethyl and ethylene lactic acid.

Storage:

1. Avoid exposure to the sun, and cover it with thermal insulation materials when stored in the open air;
2. Water can promote polymerization reaction, and water should be avoided;
