Function:
Flame retardant function: Tris (1-Chloro-2-Propyl) Phosphate contains both phosphorus and chlorine in its molecule. When decomposed by heat, phosphorus can form metaphosphoric acid and other substances, forming a covering layer on the surface of the burning object, isolating oxygen and preventing further combustion.
Plasticizing effect: It can be inserted between polymer molecular chains, weaken the forces between polymer molecules, increase the mobility and flexibility of polymer molecular chains, make polymer materials easier to process and shape, and improve the flexibility, ductility and impact resistance of its products, thereby improving the performance and life of the products.
Moisture-proof effect: It has a certain degree of hydrophobicity and can form a protective film on the surface of the material to prevent the intrusion of moisture and reduce the water absorption of the material, thereby improving the performance stability of the material in a humid environment and preventing problems such as material performance degradation, deformation, mildew, etc. caused by moisture absorption.
Application:
Engineering plastics: It is used as a flame retardant plasticizer in various engineering plastics such as epoxy resin, polystyrene, acrylic acid, cellulose acetate, ethyl cellulose resin and phenolic plastics. It can improve the flame retardant properties of the material while optimizing its processing properties and mechanical properties, so that it can meet the requirements of material properties in different engineering fields.
Adhesive field: As an additive in adhesives, it can improve the viscosity and flexibility of adhesives, enhance the adhesion and durability to different materials, and give adhesives certain flame retardant properties, so that in the bonding of wood, paper, plastic, metal and other materials, it can not only ensure the bonding strength, but also improve the fire safety of the bonding parts.
