Function:
1. As an active diluent, it can participate in free radical polymerization reaction.
2. It can be polymerized and cross-linked with compounds to form a three-dimensional mesh structure.
3. The polymethylene epoxide chain segments in the molecule have a certain degree of hydrophilicity, and the overall hydrophilicity of the material can be changed by adjusting the length or content of the polymethylene epoxide chain segments.
Application:
1. It is an important component of UV-cured wood and plastic coatings.
2. Used as active diluent in water-based coating system, it can improve the fluidity and construction performance of the coating.
3. It is one of the key components in UV curing ink, applied to plastic film, paper and other printing materials.
4. In structural adhesive formulations, it can participate in cross-linking reactions to improve adhesive cohesion and bond strength. Used in automobile manufacturing, building structure bonding and other fields.
5. In pressure-sensitive adhesives, it can improve the viscosity and adhesion of the adhesive. Used in medical tape, labeling tape and other products.
