Function:
Polypropylene glycol is a polymer with the molecular formula H(C3H6O)nOH, a colorless to light yellow viscous liquid. It does not evaporate. Non-corrosive. Polypropylene glycol is used as defoamer; solvent for vegetable oils, waxes and resins. Used in eucalyptus sugar, beverages, candy, yeast, etc.
Application:
- In cosmetics, PPG400 is used as emollient, softener and lubricant.
2.Polypropylene glycol PPG is used as an intermediate in esterification, etherification and polycondensation reactions.
