Function:
Monopotassium phosphite is a compound containing phosphorus and potassium. Potassium is one of the essential macroelements for plant growth. It participates in many physiological processes in plants, such as regulating the osmotic pressure of plant cells, promoting water absorption and transportation, and maintaining cell turgor pressure.
Potassium phosphite has the ability to induce systemic acquired resistance (SAR) in plants. It can activate the plant’s own defense mechanism and make the plant resistant to a variety of pathogens (such as downy mildew, powdery mildew, blight and other fungal diseases).
Application:
Fertilizer application: As a fertilizer, potassium phosphite can be used for fertilizing a variety of crops. In fruit cultivation (such as grapes, citrus, etc.), it can provide the phosphorus and potassium nutrients required for plant growth, promote the development and quality of fruits.
Used for the maintenance of horticultural plants. In the cultivation of ornamental plants (such as bonsai plants), potassium phosphite can enhance the stress resistance of plants, enabling them to better adapt to environmental changes such as drought and low temperature. At the same time, it can also promote plant branching and flower bud differentiation, and increase the number of flowers and ornamental value of ornamental plants.
