Product Usage
Ethylhexylglycerin is a widely used preservative booster that provides moisturizing properties and imparts a pleasant skin feel to formulations. It can greatly improve the broad spectrum of many traditional preservatives (such as phenoxyethanol). Ethylhexylglycerol makes preservative systems more effective and faster by reducing microbial cell wall surface tension and reducing bacterial activity.
