Function:
Ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether is an epoxy resin containing ethylene ether chains. It is a low-viscosity water-soluble epoxy resin or aliphatic epoxy resin. It is soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, acetone and benzene, and slightly soluble in water.
Application:
It is often mixed with bisphenol-A epoxy resin to be used as low-viscosity compound, casting plastic, dipping solution, adhesive, resin modifier, fabric treatment agent, etc. It is also used as a reactive diluent for epoxy resins and a stabilizer for chlorinated paraffins.
