Function:

Dibutyl adipate is an organic, colorless and transparent liquid. It is soluble in ether and ethanol and insoluble in water. It is mainly used as plasticizer for vinyl and cellulose resins, as well as solvent and organic synthesis.

Application:  

Dibutyl adipate can be used in high-grade plastic products, and can be used as plasticizer for vinyl resin, cellulose resin, PVC and synthetic rubber.

Dibutyl adipate can be used as nitrocellulose coating.
