Function:
1. Cesium sulfate is stable in general chemical environment and not easy to decompose. It is used to provide cesium ions during chemical synthesis and analysis.
2. Cesium sulfate has good solubility in water and can form transparent solutions.
3. Cesium sulfate has a relatively high density and is very useful in experiments or industrial processes that utilize density differences for separation or detection.
Application:
1. It can be used to manufacture optical materials. For example, microscopes, telescopes, etc.
2. As an analytical reagent, cesium sulfate can be used in techniques such as atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) and inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry (ICP – AES).
3. In the field of cell biology and molecular biology, cesium sulfate density gradient centrifugation is an important separation technique. For example, DNA extraction and purification.
4. In the manufacturing process of certain electronic devices, it can be used as a dopant to change the electrical properties of semiconductor materials. Thus, electronic devices, such as transistors and diodes, can be manufactured to meet the requirements.
