Function:
1. It has high reactivity. It is capable of free radical polymerization reactions and is used to modify polymers.
2. It has certain solubility and compatibility. It can interact with some organic solvents.
Application:
1. In the synthetic rubber and plastics industry, allyl methacrylate can be used as a copolymerization monomer. Modification of polymers to improve the strength, abrasion resistance and aging resistance of rubber.
2. Used in the preparation of resins with special properties. Used for surface coating of wood, plastic and other materials.
3. Added to coating formulations, allyl methacrylate can improve the adhesion of coatings to substrates.
4. The product after polymerization can form a dense protective film on the surface of the coating and enhance the weather resistance.
5. In adhesive formulations, allyl methacrylate can be used as a tackifier. Used in the production of pressure-sensitive adhesives
6. In some adhesive systems that require fast curing, allyl methacrylate speeds up the curing speed of the adhesive through polymerization reactions and is used in the assembly of electronic devices.
7. Used in ink formulations, it improves ink adhesion, hardness and abrasion resistance. Used for printing plastic film, paper, etc.
8. By controlling the content of allyl methacrylate in the ink, it can regulate the drying speed of the ink, which can be used for high-speed printing.
