Function:
4-Aminobenzoic(PABA) acid is a white crystalline powder that is easily soluble in hot water, ether, ethyl acetate, ethanol, and glacial acetic acid. It is difficult to dissolve in water, benzene, and petroleum ether, and is mainly used as a pharmaceutical and dye intermediate. It can also be used as an analytical reagent and sunscreen.
Application:
4-Aminobenzoic acid(PBPA) is one of the components of folic acid, which is necessary for the growth and division of body cells. It can be used as a chemical reagent, organic synthesis raw material, intermediate of azo dyes, and used to produce reactive red M-80, M-10B, reactive red violet X-2R and other dyes, cyanobenzoic acid, and drug p-carboxybenzylamine. It can be used as a sunscreen, and its derivative, octyl dimethylcarbamate, is an excellent sunscreen.
Storage:
When storing, it should be protected from heat, moisture, and sunlight, and placed in a cool, ventilated, and dry place
