Function:
1.2 – Methyl – 2 – adamantyl methacrylate has the ability to flexibly modulate polymer properties through copolymerization.
2. The adamantane ester structure in the molecule brings special spatial site resistance and rigidity to the polymer.
3. The stability of the polymer is enhanced by the presence of the adamantyl ester structure.
Application:
1. It is used in high performance industrial coatings, such as metal protective coatings; it can also be used in wood coatings.
2. Used in the manufacture of optical lenses to adjust optical parameters such as refractive index and Abbe number of the material.
4. Used in the manufacture of optical fibers, which can optimize the transmission performance of optical fibers, and also has applications in high-speed communications and optical sensing.
5. Used in modified engineering plastics to manufacture optically transparent plastic products, such as transparent cell phone shells, automotive lampshades, etc.
