Function:
1-Tetradecanol is used as the main raw material for the production of sodium tetradecyl polyoxyethylene ether succinate monosulfonate and sodium tetradecyl polyoxypropylene ether succinate monosulfonate. It can be used as raw material for organic synthesis and surfactant. It is colorless solid at normal temperature. Easily soluble in ethanol, ether, acetone, benzene and chloroform, insoluble in water. It has a pungent smell.
