Function:

1. Capable of participating in free radical polymerization reactions. Copolymerization with other monomers containing unsaturated double bonds (e.g. acrylates, styrene, etc.) to form polymers.
2. Structure regulating function, the 1 – ethyl cyclohexyl structure in its molecule brings special spatial site resistance effect to the polymer.
3. Good solubility in some organic solvents.

Application:

1. Used in the production of exterior architectural coatings with good weather resistance and flexibility.
2. Applied in automobile paint, it can improve the glossiness and anti-scratch performance of the paint.
3. Used as tackifier and flexibility regulator in various adhesive formulations, such as hot melt adhesive, pressure-sensitive adhesive.
4. Used in modified engineering plastics to improve the impact resistance and transparency of plastics, but also improve the optical properties of plastics, can be used in the manufacture of transparent cell phone shells, automotive lampshades, etc..
